A fully integrated, instrumented atmospheric water generator featuring a closed vapor-compression cycle with a dual, decoupled airflow architecture for efficient operation.

Technical details

Developed and tested at the E4W Center, this unit uses dedicated evaporator and condenser fans to minimize thermal interference. Its embedded data-acquisition platform records critical thermodynamic and operational parameters in real time. The resulting high-fidelity data supports continuous performance optimization and future commercial deployment, including thermal-management improvements and hybrid PV operation for off-grid use.

A compact, robust, outdoor-ready atmospheric water harvesting unit designed for scalable, decentralized water production.

Technical details

Engineered and assembled at E4W, this modular system combines a high-efficiency refrigeration circuit with a high-density aluminium-finned evaporator. An integrated multi-stage treatment module uses activated-carbon filtration and UV disinfection to support potable-water quality. The unit has been field-validated for continuous operation in humid and semi-arid Moroccan climates.
